Another excellent stay! The rooms are spotless, the staff are friendly and attentive, and the overall experience is consistently top-class. This is my go-to place whenever I visit Walvis Bay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort and quality service.

A wonderful stay at de Bakern. Was there for 7 nights. Thank you for a lovely service. The rooms was so lovely and clean. Beautiful decorated and all worked fine. Location is superb so close to Lagoon and my favourite restaurant the Anchor. An easy walk to downtown or a short drive to the 7dunes for some quad biking or visit the Dunes Mall. A well recomemded place to stay, de Baken.

By far the most comfortable accommodation we experienced during our trip through Namibia. It’s arranged in such a way that you could practically live there. There was even a fireplace with a built-in grill and firewood ready to use, though unfortunately, we didn’t have time to enjoy it. The property is in a great location on the edge of town, so you don’t have to drive through the center to reach major attractions like Pelican Point or Sandwich Harbour. It’s also close to good restaurants, some are even within easy walking distance. You can also walk to the lagoon.

We enjoyed our stay. It was quiet and peaceful and the location excellent. The Netflix was a tremendous bonus.
